About Bokmakierie Primary

Bokmakierie Primary School, founded in 1937, is one of the oldest schools in the Athlone area. It provides Grade R to Grade 7 education to the younger community of Bokmakierie. In 2007, the school had about 300 learners enrolled.

The school currently consists of 16 classrooms, a Workshop and a School Library. The Principal is Mr. Larry Lewis.

This school is currently celebrating its 70th Anniversary
