Seven Anglican churches from the Athlone and surrounding areas recently held their annual combined Sunday School Service at the parish of St. Dominic's in Hanover Park.

The theme for this years service was "Know, Grow and Glow" and the guest address was given by Rev. Terrence Rhoda from the parish of St. Aidan's in Lansdowne, while Holy Communion was administered by Rev. Melvin Booyen from Hanover Park.

During the course of the day, several skits were performed by superintendents from the participating churches and a band, led by Chad and Marius Meyer, performed.

A procession, led by the St. Dominic's Brigade, was conducted from Freedom Square to the Church.
