Motorists are once again to feel the pinch as yet another petrol price increase was announced for February 2008.

Spokesperson for the Department of Minerals and Energy, Hendrik Schmidt, said that the exact amount of the increase cannot be confirmed yet.

According to Schmidt, the cause of the increase is due to the fact that oil prices of the international market are high.
